About international applications: Trademarks are registered on a per-country basis. Availability for registration in one country may not have an impact on availability in another country. Trademarks protect distinctive words, phrases and logos. Words, phrases or logos which are descriptive, commonly used or deceptively similar to existing trademarks are harder to register and may be rejected by the Examiner. Trademarks are registered on a "first to file" basis. If someone files an application before you, chances are you will miss out, even if you've started using your brand. How much does it cost? Our application process will typically save you hundreds for a local application and thousands for international applications. Trademarks are registered for 10 years. Our fees cover the full 10 year registration period. Provided you continue to use your trademark, you can renew it indefinitely.
